 Consumers and businesses in the Perkinsville area now have access to Verizon High Speed Internet, allowing them to quickly download movies, share photos or video with friends and family, and create their own Internet content.
Verizon technicians recently installed high-speed Internet equipment, based on digital subscriber line (DSL) technology, at the company's Perkinsville telephone switching office, enabling the company to offer broadband service in the area.

 Residents of Happy Valley are a major step closer to having a real choice for television service, thanks to a newly approved agreement authorizing Verizon to offer its FiOS TV service, delivered over the most advanced fiber-optic network straight to customers' homes.
The Happy Valley City Council voted to grant a franchise to Verizon Tuesday night (May 20), paving the way for video choice in the communities. The vote brings to 18 the total number of Oregon communities that have approved video franchises for Verizon.

Residents of the Erie County Village of Blasdell and the Rockland County Village of Montebello are a major step closer to having a real choice for their cable television service, thanks to newly approved agreements authorizing Verizon to offer its FiOS TV service, delivered over the most advanced fiber-optic network straight to customers' homes.
The governing boards of the two communities granted video franchises to Verizon Wednesday (May 21), paving the way for video choice in their respective communities. These votes bring to 115 the total number of New York communities that have approved video franchises for Verizon.

I have both Fios Internet and Fios TV. I have had Fios Internet the longest. I have to admit, It Rocks! Yes with a capital "R" I own an Internet Radio station and Fios just made life easier for me. I upload lots of MP3's to my server for broadcast and the wait was getting just too old. I had DSL and the download speeds were decent, I had few complaints there but the uploads just plain sucked! That was Pre-Fios. |
